"As Good as Silver" - the actual price of one GEAU (pronounced geo : Greek, from gē earth) is equivalent to the current terrestrial retail price of of physical silver on Earth as listed st the Raiffeissen Bank of Switzerland. For comparison purposes, additional information about the current international wholsale price of silver can be found at Kitco. As the price of the GEAU is pegged to the price of physical silver, it's price will be updated on a regular basis to reflect the ongoing worldwide devaluation of all fiat currencies and the increasing potential value of silver and gold.
The GEAU is being proposed as an international internal accounting unit for the GEEO - the Greater Earth Energy Organization which can be equitably used among the members for setting the yearly budget and for accounting purposes. The form of the GEAU is the astronomical symbol of Greater.Earth.
All GEAU prices are quoted in Swiss francs. The current May 2020 price is 600 CHF per kilogram.

Why Silver as a basis for the GEAU and not Gold?
As the world's fiat currencies decrease in value, the availabilty of phyiscal gold may exceed the market demand as many coutries have been stockpiling gold to back their own currencies. Geologists estimate that there are approximately 19 ounces of silver for every ounce of gold in the earth’s crust, with a ratio of approximately 11.2 ounces of silver to each ounce of gold that has ever been mined.
The price of silver today is historically underpriced. The current the ratio stands at just over 88:1. That means it takes 88 ounces of silver to buy an ounce of gold. To put that into perspective, the average in the modern era has been between 40:1 and 50:1. This means that the price silver can be expected to increase dramatically in the near future.
